Galerie le Manège / Institut Français Sénégal (3 Rue Parchappe, Dakar) – this gallery, located in a renovated 19th century French colonial building, holds workshops, seminars and events to promote the cultural development of the country, artistic exchange between France and Senegal, and dialogue among the cultures. Six exhibitions with different thematic approaches are held at its 300-sq.-meter exhibition space each year. The program consists of an exhibition planned by a young curator from Africa or the African diaspora. Among other things, an exhibition by a French or international artist is organized jointly with a European cooperation partner. Another show is dedicated to the field of photography.
